Job Title: Contract Construction Site Cleaner\n\nLocation:\n \n Central Newcastle\n\nContract Type:\n \n Temporary / Contract\n\nHours:\n \n 8 hours per day / 3 days per week\n\nRate:\n \n £13 - £13.50\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking reliable and hardworking\n \n Construction Site Cleaners\n \n to support ongoing construction projects. This contract role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment throughout various stages of construction. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping the site operate efficiently and safely.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCleaning and tidying construction work areas, welfare facilities, and site offices.\n\nRemoving debris, dust, packaging, and waste materials from site.\n\nSweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising designated areas.\n\nAssisting with builders' cleans and sparkle cleans before project handover.\n\nSegregating and disposing of waste in accordance with site procedures.\n\nEnsuring walkways, entrances, and communal areas remain safe and free from hazards.\n\nReporting maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to site management.\n\nFollowing all site health and safety regulations and wearing appropriate PPE.\n\nRequirements\n\nPrevious cleaning experience, preferably on construction sites, is desirable but not essential.\n\nGood attention to detail and a strong work ethic.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nPhysically fit and capable of carrying out manual cleaning duties.\n\nUnderstanding of health and safety procedures.\n\nValid CSCS card preferred (if required by site).\n\nReliable attendance and punctuality.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nCompetitive pay rates.\n\nWeekly pay.\n\nOpportunities for contract extensions and future assignments.\n\nSupportive site management team.\n\nImmediate start available for suitable candidates
